Happy Friday, everyone! We are ever-so-slowly inching our way to spring! I put away my wool jacket in defiance (and shivered my way to work) but good weather is in the cards for this weekend. Here are a few things from around the world this week…
One. Sometimes the best things in life are just slight upgrades to what we take for granted. Case in point: fruit-and-herb infused waters.
Two. Guy at Trader Joe’s yesterday convinced me that their Organic Ginger Zinger is like a Moscow Mule without the vodka. So naturally, it felt like an acceptable way to turn up at breakfast.
Three. We talked podcasts this week on the blog and I love-love-loved all of your recommendations. Seriously, I think I have enough to try a new one every day of the week to and from work. You rock!
Four. This verse from John was good medicine for the soul this morning: “For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” For the days where it seems like there isn’t enough time or money or energy enough, we are reminded that there is still and always grace for us.
Five. The National Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off this weekend, so here’s a little throwback to when I performed at the parade SEVEN years ago?! Yep, that’s me in all my flowered glory on the right.
May you have a wonderful, blessed, and spring-filled weekend!
