Good morning, y’all!

I hope you’ve had a stellar week. A LOT has happened in my world—I took a new job, moved to a city MUCH smaller than Nashville or Racine, and have walked more miles and talked to more people than I probably have all summer. I’m excited about this new change of pace, but would appreciate some prayers for peace and stability. Transition times can be tough, but in Him all things work together.

Other things that went on in the world this week…

One. You NEED (read: need!) to watch the Tony Robbins documentary I Am Not Your Guru on Netflix. I still haven’t made up my mind on this guy, but one thing I will say: he is a powerful speaker, and you won’t have ended it without finding something that resonates with you.

Two. This week’s What I Learned Wednesday was all about fashion. If you’re a modern woman looking to rule the world, here are your closet essentials. Also, can we talk about Hillary Clinton’s all-white number last night at the DNC convention? So, so classy.

Three. Currently craving: these Cowboy Cookies I made a few months back. So many good and delicious things going on here! Get on it if your weekend affords you some cooler weather and time to bake.IMG_6677Four. Did you know my dog has an Instagram? He’ll be joining me on the campaign trail very, very soon, so you should definitely give him a follow.Screen Shot 2016-07-29 at 9.49.42 AMFive. A quote to think on for this weekend…

“In all affairs it’s a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.” Bertrand Russell

Have a great weekend!
