Happy Friday, y’all!

Man, it’s been a week. Emerging from Nashville’s snowstorm left me full of pent up energy, which expressed itself in the forms of meal prepping, random dance, kickboxing, and some poetry. I’m gonna try and take a few steps back this weekend as the first month of 2016 comes to a close, and I hope you’ll do the same.

A few things from this week…

One. If you’re not a breakfast person, you should be. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite healthy, delicious, and easy go-to breakfasts, because really, we owe it to ourselves.photo-1424847651672-bf20a4b0982b

Two. With Donald Trump taking a pass at the GOP debate last night, the rest of the presidential hopefuls for the Republican Party wasted no time getting down to business. Here’s a quick recap of the debate in time for the primaries coming up.

Three. Jason Miller hit on some raw nerves in this week’s sermon at Church of the City. Some powerful thoughts about living in kairos rather than running through our lives always searching for the next thing.

Four. I’ve made it to Season 4 of Friends, and life is great. Can’t believe I didn’t watch this show when it was actually the 90’s and I could take advantage of all the fashion trends, but I’m watching anyways and considering investing in a choker again.

Five. My arms are about to get really sore. Why? I’m doing a push-up for every dollar donated to my fundraising efforts to Children’s Miracle Network as part of my #CMNChallenge. It’s not to late to contribute to the cause (happy kids and toned arms, what a life!). Click here to visit my donation page!

Alright, that’s all I’ve got! Have a fabulous weekend, everyone!

xx,

Jeanette
