Hey friends.

So to be completely honest, I shouldn’t be writing right now. It’s 12:30 in the morning, I have homework that hasn’t been done, laundry that hasn’t been put away, emails that haven’t been responded to, and a to-do list that grows longer by the minute. Since when did life become so complicated?

Anyways, I wanted to just take a minute and share a verse with you that’s been on my heart a lot this month. It’s a good one.

In this middle of our strivings and failings, it’s just good to know that God uses the undone, the incomplete, and the imperfect to show His glory. So if you’re having a stressful week, and it’s not even Wednesday yet, I’d just encourage you to take a second, breathe, and remember that you are loved and you are enough.

Also, my best friend and I are doing this challenge to see where we can de-clutter our lives. Basically, for the next three days we’re going to write down everything that takes up our time and figure out what we need to get rid of. A lifestyle cleanse, so to speak. Expect a post soon!

Finally, The Life List adventure of last week was a little bit unsuccessful. The wonderfully talented {and sometimes funny} Eric Owens attempted to teach me to juggle, but it’s not been the greatest, due to my impeccable lack of coordination. Still, I’ve been trying, and I’m confident I’ll have it pinned down by the time next year rolls around.

Be happy, be blessed, and if you’re still up at 12:30 in the morning…try and get some sleep.

  1. Jeanette, It is an admirable goal to have one’s life so “together” in all phases; (matters of faith, family, relationships, study, physical fitness, organization, and hobbies) however, consider a bit of friendly advise from a older guy – ease up a bit. You’ll have (God willing) many years of life ahead to get your “act” together. You are destined to burn brightly, but the “wax” is your fuel, and it will deplete…don’t neglect to nurture your wax with some down time where not much appears to be going on…it’s OK…really.
